Thank you, for very useful program. It’s work great on my iMac Lion 10.7.0

One question, Is it possible to make it download from group? ( like http://www.reddit.com/r/birdpics)

Regard and keep your great job. 🙂

    • I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible. I will consider it as an option to include in a future update.

Download from group sounds Awesome but problematic if you don’t have a Terabyte of free disk space available. If you plan on adding that feature, could make it like a valve(1day submissions, past week submissions, past month submissions, etc). The larger photo subreddits could easily consume gigabytes of disk space not to mention bandwidth for those with caps.

        • The program is already set up so that while it is fetching images you can have it stop at any time by pressing cancel, then it will proceed to download the images it has found. I may rename the “cancel” button in a future version to say either “stop fetch” or “stop download” to make it more obvious.

Exactly what I was looking for. Works great, thanks a lot for your efforts.

Great program. Except I get the error: # of failed album reads: 1

    The errorlog says:

Error Log for 2:41:47 PM may 20 2012
    URL: http://imgur.com/a/beBTG
    Save to: D:\Albums

    Error reading album: http://imgur.com/a/beBTG/noscript

I don’t know why it adds the /noscript to the URL. I do have it installed, but imgur is allowed, and I even tried downloading the images without Firefox on.

Thanks for the program, but I’d love to actually be able to use it haha

    • Responded via email.

I am actually having the same no script issue. Could you email me the response?

I also have been getting a lot of errors on albums lately with errors like this http://imgur.com/XsCR5?tags and the same as Dorian above. Any ideas?

    • I am working on an update that will fix this and many other issues. No ETA yet though. The test version is updated every few days so be sure to occasionally look at that.

I’m having the same problem, using both 1.0 and 1.1test. The exact error is “Error reading album: http://imgur.com/a/NgReZ/noscript “, that particular album is one that I just tried that failed. It does not happen on all albums, but I can’t see a pattern as to when it does or doesn’t work. Thanks for the great tool, and I appreciate your work on this!

The history limit is maxed out at 30 entries. I’ve amassed 60 or so folders that I save to often. Could you increase the limit please?

    • I’m really busy this week, but I’ll be sure to add this to the test version as soon as I have a new stable build.

Can you add the ability to download imgur user albums using an url like http://imgurusername.imgur.com ?

  • johnny

Anyone else have difficulty getting some albums ? some imgur albums just refuse to work even though i see them in Chrome. Reddit user comments links aren’t downloading either.

    • Working on a fix for the comments right now. A recent change to Reddit broke this functionality.

      • johnny

great. some album photos receive an error if the filename is 4 characters[****.jpg] , If I add an ‘h’ at the end of the filename to get a total of 5 characters the link works.

Great Work Skylark95! I also have problems to download albums for a reddit user. Can I help you to fix the problem? Maybe I can create a regular expression to filter the wrong part of the url or I can testing a new version?

    Works great.
    Thanks!

  • Josh

This program actually can not download entire group albums, do you have any plans on adding that function in the next update?

  • darren

Is the source available for this?

Unfortunately seems to have stopped working as of last week. Either doesn’t see of the links or can only acquire a few of them.
